[As we read in ‘Le Figaro’](https://www.lefigaro.fr/international/Ukraine-dissuasion-nucleaire-depenses-militaires-les-pistes-d-emmanuel-macron-pour-pousser-le-reveil-europeen-20250302) Emmanuele Macron tries, on the 1 hand, to mobilise European partners to act more actively and take work for himself and Ukraine, and on the another hand, he constantly tries to put out the fire that arose after the dispute between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenski. However, this does not seem to be motivated by assurance in the American ally, or more by maintaining his commitment to Ukraine, which gives Europe time.
