[In the beginning of May](https://defence24.pl/strong-armoured/luxemburg-issue-billion-on-French-vehicles) Luxembourg defence minister Yuriko Backes presented a draft bill to collect from France for more than €2.6 billion respective twelve armored vehicles of the Jaguar, Griffon and Serwal household along with support wagons. Thus it would be historical in terms of the value and quality of equipment of the acquisition for the Luxembourg army, which is simply a tiny formation and does not have many types of weapons. As part of this plan, a full of 38 EBRC Jaguar wheeled reconnaissance vehicles, 16 VBMR Griffonm armoured wheeled transporters, 5 VBMR-L Serwal armoured vehicles and nearly 130 logistics vehicles were envisaged.
