LUKÓW | Celebration of St John Paul II in Łukow

On 2 April this year, at the invitation of Łuk's “Gazeta Polish” Club, residents of Łuk and invited guests took part in solemn celebrations commemorating the figure of Saint John Paul II. The events began with a symbolic laying of flowers at the monument of Pope Pole, which is located in the city center on Piłsudski Street.
