Three inmates accepted the First Holy Communion during the ceremony in the Lublin Investigation Arrest. They prepared for the sacrament for many months under the direction of the chaplain, Fr Grzegorz Draus, chaplain of the Lublin Investigation Arrest.

The event entered the conventional first-community period experienced in the Church.

During the liturgy, women, dressed in white comma outfits and holding candles lit, renewed their creed and baptismal vows.

Preparation for the adoption of the First Holy Communion is part of a catechistic program carried out in the Lublin Penitentiary Unit.

One fruit of the spiritual commitment is the painting of frescoes on all the walls of the 3 chapels by the chaplain and the prisoners, as well as the hand-writing and decorating of the book of Scripture.

After completing the handwritten Bible in Polish, the participants of the program undertook another project, which included the copying of individual Bible books in different languages. The initiative is spiritual and educational. It promotes Bible reading as the most crucial book of Christendom.
