Latvia, despite having a very low defence budget and military equipment resources, is constantly engaged in assistance to Ukraine. So far, Riga has supported the Ukrainian army, among others [4-6 light Mi-2 helicopters, 4 average Mi-8/17](https://defence24.pl/war-na-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/former-lote-aircraft-smigglove-on-ukrainie), [6 caterpillar-haubice M109A5Ös](https://defence24.pl/defence-defence/aircraft-transmit-ukrainie-and-artilleries) and shoulder-armed FIM-92 Stinger anti-aircraft rocket launchers. In addition, the transportation of 10 million euro worth of drones to Ukraine was announced this year.
