One individual suffered more serious injuries as a consequence of the collision of 2 trams, which occurred present at Narutowicza Street in Łódź.
The accident occurred around 10 a.m. close the intersection with Kopcińskiego Street.
– According to the preliminary findings of the police working on the site, motor vehicle line No. 8 did not adjust the velocity and hit the tram line 12, which was waiting for the green light," said the spokesperson of the Provincial Police Chief in Łódź nadkom. Edyta Machnik.
As a consequence of the collision, a 71-year-old passenger of line 12 went to infirmary with body injuries.
Both vehicle drivers were sober.
