Little large Brother is inactive Watching: Montenegro Facing Serbia's Influence

Montenegro, independent since 2006, although it remains within the sphere of Serbian economic, political, cultural and media influence, maintains a Euro-Atlantic vector of abroad policy. This is evidenced by the real advancement made in the accession negotiations with the EU over the past year. The imagination of membership enjoys the support of three-quarters of society and is simply a key goal and at the same time the bond of the ruling coalition formed in 2023. However, an earlier accession of Montenegro than Serbia would be a political defeat for Belgrade.
