“Let us rationalise the museum”
Time for improvement
A letter from A.Z. entitled “Let us rationalise the museum” (ANGORA No. 38) called me to write, due to the fact that I wanted to address this subject for a long time. I graduated from museum studies, I was the chief inventor of 1 of the biggest museums in Poland, and with large care I observe the state of Polish museums after 1945. Museum collections are treated as a “good dead hand” and erstwhile an object enters a museum, it is to stay in it until the end of the planet as its property. The improvement of museums should begin with the head, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, which should employment experts working or taking compulsory internships in inventory departments and collecting large European museums. The Museums Act of 21 November 1996 should be amended and a strategy should be drawn up for the modern organisation of museums and their policy of segregation and selection of collections based on European models.
The museum policy so far, educated in years erstwhile Polish museums licked war wounds, cannot take place any further, due to the fact that 80 years after the war museums, especially the largest museums, break from the accumulated objects which are unnecessary to them and occupy immense warehouse spaces. In addition, they will never be shown or subjected to conservation procedures, due to the fact that there will be no money for it. The State Museum Resource should be created, which would include collections of state museums subordinate to ministries and voivodes and Regional Museum Collections subordinate to local authorities.
Of course, there are besides museums of legal and natural persons, churches, etc. The collections of state museums forming the State Museum Resource should be decided by the Provincial or Regional Board of Directors of State Museums, with the anticipation to decide independently on the deficiency, exchange, transfer and sale, on peculiar auctions, unnecessary or excessive facilities. Naturally, after receiving the opinion of the Council of curators of individual museum units. There is no request to affect the ministries and centralisation of decisions in these matters is completely ineffective.
The time has passed erstwhile museums have been managed by chance and uneducated people, as the current staff is entirely after higher education and most frequently has rich museum experience. Separate rules of inventory should be applied to peculiar collections in archaeological, ethnographic, natural museums, etc. The acceptance of gifts and deposits to circumstantial museums should begin as a transfer to the Polish state or local government, not as a property of the museum, unless the donor clearly and in writing stated that the gift or deposit was to be stored in a peculiar museum unit, and even then this should apply only for a period of 10 or 20 years. This might aid enrich the thematic museums with a number of objects that may be unnecessary in another units due to the fact that they do not fit their profile.
For example, respective Austrian legion rifles are in collections of the Royal Castle in Wawel alternatively of e.g. in the National Army Museum; or a 16th-century bombard is stored in the National Museum in Krakow alternatively of in Wawel. In many museums there are, for example, respective of the same regimental badges or decorations that could be passed on to another museums or sold. This besides applies to hundreds of copies of paintings and works of negligible artistic and historical value or in a very bad state of behavior. I can't mention thousands of the same numismists. The usage of the practice of European museums should greatly reduce museum magazines and supply museums with funds that could be utilized to preserve and supplement collections, for example by buying valuable deposits. 1 of the museum's sins is not to describe the objects exhibited, especially in temporary exhibitions and publishing houses, the names of the donor, which would encourage visitors to be self-giving to the museum.
In order to spread cognition about the content of Polish museum magazines, inventory of individual departments should be published, which will encourage their availability to researchers and complement technological studies with the attention of specialists outside their own institution. Finally, I would like to address the archaic way of inventory museum collections (individual) due to the fact that it inhibits the admission to the museum of gifts of full collections (e.g. photographs or documents).
It should be possible to inventory them, e.g. as a collection or folder of documents, due to the fact that to defend them it is adequate to number them and photograph them collectively, as it is done in archives. I conclude with wishes for museums so that they can proceed to effectively defend our national heritage and have the satisfaction of individual contact with unique objects of material culture. TOMAS
‘Sex is simply a squad thing.“
Sex? No! No! I want peace!
Joanna Keszka's article "Sex is simply a squad matter" (ANGORA No. 40) may have had good intentions and a good message at times, due to the fact that all wise man agrees that: sex is erstwhile both sides feel comfortable and have fun. The point is that the full test is so biased, shallow, and anti-male that you feel the misunderstanding of the essence of the relation and matrimony by the author. I felt her dislike, even contempt for men. The appeal to women, especially in the final conclusion, is simply a bit naive. Do not engage in the function of sacrifice (but can you hurt your partner?) or a union savior (so don’t effort and interact?). You will not save love (so don't hope and end the relation already?), sacrificing your own needs and comfort (so the needs of your partner and husband are of zero importance and comfort in the relation mean nothing?). The slander against all men that “something is due to them in marriage” is due to the negation of the essence of marriage: spiritual, economical and physical bonds. Physical distance (e.g. wives) by deliberately ignoring the husband's needs as a form of punishment or discipline is frequently practiced in marriages. If a female does not like or does not want sex according to an amicable style, she should announce it before the wedding alternatively than shortly after. I know a communicative from a life another than that described in the article by Mr. Carolina. Eve, a 27-year-old, loved her partner and the relation worked out perfectly in all aspect. Six months after her marriage, her husband abruptly heard, “You know, I realized that sex is overrated and unnecessary.” The husband was shocked to have asked for closeness, so he heard, “If you have to, rapidly and rarely, yes.” Then the husband died (no sex is simply quite a few wellness problems in men) and said: “I suffer. Why won't you have sex with me?’ The answer was, “I never liked sex, but if you knew the truth, you wouldn’t want to marry me.” It's not an isolated and fictional story, so don't put all your guilt on your husbands. Sex is simply a substance and a squad responsibility. TOBIAH
Contaminated with Trumpism?
It is surely standard fact that in all embassy, not only in our country, they watch Polish publications and perceive to our information. They pay attention not only to what they say and compose in newspapers, but besides to who writes or runs public programs. I don't know what happened in TVN and TVN24, enjoying the highest ratings so far, but I have the impression that they have already become so doomed by the Trumpism that they are slow losing their self-preservation instinct in the selection of journalists appointed (or possibly not?) to talk with invited ambassadors of abroad states.
This was the case on 8 October 2025 erstwhile Anita Werner invited Ukrainian Ambassador Vasil Bodnar, who spoke our language well. He surely knew what this writer would do. Pressed to a wall sometimes by a guy smarter than her to explain what she means, she defends herself (she is not the only 1 in this station), saying: I'm just asking. If that's how she was taught in the United States, then I don't give a damn about that! She is expected to represent me, a citizen, a listener, and as a erstwhile soldier, I do not want her to ask questions on my behalf “pull out”, giving Putin a hint on specified a hint where she is expected to hit “a stray drone” or how many to send to diversion erstwhile We're in the prewar period. – as the Prime Minister said and what I agree with.
The interviewer wanted to know if the tomahawks from the US were already in Ukraine. Bodnar was prepared, answered diplomatically, and pressed by her for details – why the hell is that? – he reposted that there are quite a few electronic elements from the West in the rockets falling on Ukraine.
And the top of the foolishness was the question of where our soldiers and Ukrainians trained in utilizing drones. The ears at the Russian embassy turned, but they got nothing but: On 1 of the ground. Bodnar besides told us about the secret, but in the morning replay, the station cut it out, due to the fact that I think they realized it was... (I would like to say in soldierish, but they won't print it for me). It's an example of Trumpist contamination. Quoting Batyr/Nawrocki and his word "banderism", she received a second repost immediately: Do you know what flagism is?
A somewhat confused communicative continued by supporting Nawrocki that he wanted to put “banderism” in the bill. She got – and in my opinion rightly – another repost that, as in Poland, Ukraine will besides remind the Ukrainians by its own law, what “deeds” our AK and another our groups had in killing Ukrainians.
I wonder why young people, and not only her, with social media Facebooks, should be able to weaken the Ukrainians' will to fight Russia, as they say in independent media alleged symmetryists and others, themselves, without anyone's aid (although I have doubts), want to divide us, herit us and force us to press pseudohistoric bullshit. I urge this woman (small intended letter) and others not only from this station read the Ukrainian Triangle written by French historian Daniel Beauvois, 1938, translated in 2005. What? besides fat, besides hard, besides real? We request to devote ourselves, read and think about what questions to ask people around Nawrocki, although I uncertainty that he, as the erstwhile head of the IPN, read it. specified freedom of speech in free (likely) media I do not want. Yours truly. Former Soldier
Disgusting and outrage!
After watching the next edition of “Black on White” there is disgust and outrage at the behaviour and actions of our alleged elites. What about Sienkiewicz’s “put up a cloth” or even Żeromski’s “Crowd by crows, crows”. Most of these “elyts” most likely won't even get the picture. Among them, from left to right, greed, greed, hypocrisy and thumiwism are devastating! But we chose them.
Where are the times erstwhile they were outraged at the alleged yellow curtains in the shops for the chosen, the vouchers for the deficit goods for which they had to pay, for holidays in peculiar centres, etc. How's it going today? Fatherland from all possible side, to those bumps that work? I'll start with the simplest. For the Polish People's Republic there were Provincial Possel Teams, common to all MPs from the voivodship.
The permanent staff there coordinated the work of MPs in the field, established on-calls, accepted stakeholders, kept lists of meetings with voters and administrative authorities in the field to know what problems the voivodship has and what the MPs are going to effort to do “at the headquarters”. I do not even mention the work to attend (physical) meetings. Now attendance, apart from voting, can be almost zero. There are respective Members waiting to talk on the bench.
Membership leaves the gathering area are visible, especially before the Prime Minister or another unpopular associate of the government. Then the old duck of Żoliborz gets up, followed by a faithful flock of geese and marches out. But does it service the duck and geese well? Who's to be embarrassed? The deficiency of Terlecki's imagination causes this gap to effort as mediocre Kuźmiuk can fill. Unfortunately, neither the krasomic talent nor the wide back of him possessed. It comes out colorless, sad and meaningless. Others who effort to ask questions, sometimes escape for the first better door, mark telephone calls or cover themselves with the request to participate in the committee. But the writer does not ask to talk, but wants to show us – that is, the voters of that MP or MP – what he is presently working on in the Sejm, what is his attitude towards the problems of the area he represents. The PT Members and Members simply do not escape, they do not escape and that is all. Greetings, Editors and Readers. HELENKA'S GRANDMA
Disqualification!
A long time ago I wrote to you about Szymon Holownia (without the “Lord” due to the fact that I have no respect for him!) that he is the biggest pest of Polish affairs. I'm so angry and upset about this individual, I decided to put my emotions on paper, which would relieve me a little. What's happening in our country right now, all this chaos, is mostly due to this guy's actions. Why do I think that? The first reason is the erstwhile presidential election.
I believe that if it had not been for his engagement in the fight for the President's position, given the atmosphere at the time ("We have enough!") and the results of the polls, Mr Rafał Trzaskowski would have been elected in the first round. Ladies and gentlemen, for 5 years we would have had a president (whose capital letter I would write) with whom we could make quite a few good! The second issue is parliamentary elections. Having cognition of the pre-existing parties – Self-defense, Palikot Movement, Modern – which did not bring anything crucial and, as it turned out, were incorrect to be and fell apart, the guy sets up a fresh party.
Here is the wise saying: “History teaches that it teaches nothing.” But those words went into the woods... How do you start a fresh organization (despite warnings and doubts) and engage in this Kosiniak-Kamish venture (and this 1 truly did not know how it could end?!), then you gotta endure to the end and not exposure the people who trusted.
I remember with what enthusiasm, conviction and determination he wanted to go the 3rd Way. And erstwhile it turns out that this road led him to an alley, he curled his tail under himself, and now he's moving for an intrepid, well paid and highly rated job. In my eyes (and most likely not only in mine?) disqualify the Holownia nighttime secret talks with Jarosław Kaczyński. specified an educated (anyhow) guy with specified a large opinion of himself should know that Kaczyński specified as he had already chewed and spit out... Looking at specified a man in power, the second after the President, I say, “Poor you, my Homeland!” This year's presidential election was a duel of Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski with Karol Nawrocki.
Nawrocki has given this challenge. Here again, this pest has been “screwed” with another candidate who has won a rainbow flag. Thanks to Holownia, the duel made a circus involving various actors. I am convinced that a one-on-one gathering would be won by Mr Rafał Trzaskowski! In my opinion, Mr. Holovnia, you've done so much fuss and harm that it's time to quit politically. A political non-being here would be an appropriate "reward". Reader of John
And standing class
There's an old gag I'm going to quote, though, due to the fact that his point fits the full line. Standing in a streetcar, the old woman complains to herself that there are no more gentlemen in this country. To which a sitting young man reacts in her direction with the answer that gentlemen are quite a few us (in the first word used), only fewer seats. This gag reminded me many times erstwhile I was on a long way by train to the Railway Station, which is covered by a partial seat reservation. So there are those on the train who have paid and reserved seats, and those for whom they are the object of desire. I was 1 of the fortunate ones who managed to buy a ticket with a place. I bought the first class to be comfortable. Turns out I was only fortunate until I got on the train.
I did not buy a more costly ticket to compression through a corridor full of standing people with luggage – I thought at first. Then I had to get out of the place where I had a purchased ticket, a foreigner (where it came from is meaningless). This gentleman was standing in the hallway, lurking, or something won't come out. He slowed down for 1 episode between the stations, so he waltzed in with his manels and sat down for a fewer minutes.
When he was asked to leave again, he scolded under his nose just as much as erstwhile I “throw him out.” This situation repeated with different people and in different compartments, due to the fact that the number of chatters in the corridor was at any point equal to the number of people sitting in compartments. After all, it was first class, so the compartments were six people.
Apart from the fact that watching people sitting on the corridor level is not comfortable, these passengers truly interfere with the passage, going to the toilet, straightening their legs in the corridor, etc. Is this truly the first grade even though you're sitting? Is it expected to be a travel strategy for them to get into the first class, from a more comfortable assumption, and to wait for any part of the way to pass, sitting, while paying less? If so, I do not agree that this way I should be played by supporters of cheaper travel.
I wonder why I am writing this – fewer people will read it, due to the fact that those who are waiting for a seat in the first class do not look like people from the "reader" set, and surely no 1 will wake up with a reflection: or possibly it is not right, due to the fact that these people paid more to have the comfort of the journey, so next time he will stand in the carriage of the second class. Waiting for a return trip, with a railway greeting ALEXANDER POPEAN
