Professor Andrzej Nowak responded to the appeal to retreat his support for the candidacy of Karol Nawrocki:
Since Stalin's time, which I don't remember, but I admit as a historian, there hasn't been a level of lying, scum, lies that Donald Tusk and his crew represent. These people are capable of lying, which I took the liberty of calling 13 years ago a “Soviet lie” – that is, an exact reversal of reality. These are the people, with Tusk and Sikorski at the head, who have done more than any another politician in Central and east Europe to aid Putin in his aggression – I mean their policies in 2007-2014, which I have repeatedly described (e.g. frequently in “Rzeczpospolita”)
Mr Nawrocki has known me for respective years from the IPN College meetings, I voted for his election as president not due to the fact that individual told me to, but due to the fact that he convinced me to do his candidacy and I gave up another candidate, whom I was originally inclined to support. Then I met his family. I don't know much better, more beautiful, nobler families. Think about the harm Mr Nawrocki is doing to this family, wife and children of the onet.
I think you are aware of what the judicial strategy in Poland looks like, whose side is the very powerfully motivating judgments of sympathy for the vast majority of judges? Of course, dismissing a suit in electoral mode would only give fresh material to the thesis by onet and another media serving D. Tuskko announced that here we have conclusive proof of the allegations of anonymous witnesses of this defiling material. That is the mastery of this evil movement. But, you know, in the end Christ wins. Not necessarily in the election. But in the end, he wins.
