First attempts to suspend and postpone punishment and then escape – for Paul Kozanecki, sentenced to 1.5 years in prison, a lawyer from “the coffins on wheels”, was issued a BOLO.
A lawyer known for his controversial message about “carrots on wheels” is wanted by a BOLO. A man has to service 18 months in prison after a final conviction for causing an accident in which 2 women died. Earlier attempts to bring the convict into custody failed due to his absence from his residence. The search is conducted by officers from Lodz.
After the judgement was finalized, Kozanecki tried to suspend the execution of the conviction and applied for a postponement. In addition, he applied for penalties in the electronic surveillance system, but the decision on the substance has not yet been taken.
A tragic accident occurred in September 2021 in Warmia. According to investigative findings, the Mercedes-director's lawyer pulled over to the other lane, leading to a collision with Audi. Both women traveling in the second car died instantly. The case was echoed by the publication of the recording in which Kozanecki explained the tragedy with a difference in the safety of the vehicles — women in his opinion were to decision “the coffin on wheels”. These words caused a wave of outrage.
