Lime, an operator of shared electrical vehicles, announced that she would repeat her action "I choose Lime" and offer free rides with scooters on the day of the second circular of presidential elections. The promotion will apply on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in all Polish cities where Lime service is available.
Any user who types the promotional code “WYBERAMLIME2025” in Lime will be given 2 10-minute free passes. The company decided to proceed the initiative after it met with a affirmative reception during the first circular of elections, erstwhile users were eager to usage the scooter as a means of transport to the polling stations.
"The voice of our users is very crucial to us, we know that the initiative I choose Lime has already gained many supporters among our community. We decided, therefore, that we would again offer free rides to the Lime scooters on the day of the second circular of the presidential election," commented Wilhelm Munio, elder Operations manager in Lime Poland.
The promotional code will be available throughout the election Sunday, 1 June. Users will be informed of the action via notifications in the application. However, it should be remembered that the number of codes is limited – 2.5 000 users will be able to benefit from the promotion, which translates into 5 000 free journeys.
Lime besides recalls the 5 most crucial principles for safe movement of scooters:
- Roads for bicycles should be used. If not available, you can choose the roadway with a permitted velocity of up to 30 km/h or, in another cases, the pavement.
- The maximum velocity is 20 km/h, and on the sidewalk you request to adjust the velocity and yield to the precedence pedestrians.
- You must not drive under the influence of alcohol or another drugs.
- Only 1 individual can ride on 1 scooter; additional persons, animals or cargo are prohibited.
- The scooter should be parked in designated places, and in the absence thereof, parallel to the pavement as close as possible to its outer edge, leaving at least 1.5 m wide for pedestrians and remembering people with disabilities.
