Lebanon's president Joseph Aoun accused Iran in an interview with CNN on Friday of utilizing his war-torn country as a "tender card" in a conflict with the US and Israel.
He stated that his compatriots had a “enough” war between Israel and an Iran-supported terrorist group.
Addressing Iran, the president stated that Lebanon's welfare "does not match Tehran's interests". "It is the people of Lebanon who pay the price for your interests," he said.
He besides approached the muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC), an elite Iranian armed force. "This is not your country, this is our country," he said.
