The president of the Lebanese Parliament and the Ally of Pro-Iran Hezbollah Nabih Berri stated on Friday that he would accept the withdrawal of the group from confederate Lebanon, provided that Israel simultaneously withdrew its forces from there and a comprehensive ceasefire was agreed, provided the AFP agency.

According to the Times of Israel portal, in a message made available by Berri's office, the politician criticized the Israeli-Lebanese ceasefire agreement concluded this week at the U.S. brokerage. He said it was unfair. He stressed that it should include "an unconditional ceasefire on land, sea and air ... without destroying and destroying everything that exists". He meant the vast areas of confederate Lebanon where Israeli troops demolished buildings.

Berri criticised the creation of the "pilot zones" in the agreement, and besides called for Hezbollah to unilaterally suspend arms and retreat from border areas south of the Litani River.
