Let us remind that on the agenda of the ongoing session of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland will deal with respective projects.

The first is the Left’s “safe abortion” project, which assumes the legalisation of abortion of children up to Week 12.

The second project, which besides submitted this formation, concerns the amendment of the Criminal Code Act and demands partial de-penalization and decriminalisation of abortion-related acts: the complete exclusion of the crime of killing the kid until the 12th week of pregnancy with the consent of the female and the exclusion of the criminality of abortion with the consent of the female in a situation of severe, irreversible disability or incurable illness of the child.

Members will besides act on the bill of the civilian Coalition “on conscious parenting”. It assumes the anticipation of killing the kid until the 12th week of pregnancy (in any cases besides after the 12th week) and forcing the medical institution to execute abortion if it is bound by a contract with the NFZ.

A separate bill besides filed the 3rd Road. It concerns the amendment of the household Planning Act, the protection of the human fetus and the conditions for abortion and implies a reversal of the effects of the 2020 Constitutional Court ruling and a return to the alleged abortion compromise.
