The year 2023 did not bring a affirmative result in the war in Ukraine, but a fresh 1 in the mediate East began. The hope for stableness in this region has proved to be impenetrable, and the number of problems makes further conflicts very likely. So there are fewer reasons to view the coming year with optimism.
