Pope Leon XIV on the 3rd day of his visit to Spain as the first always head of the Catholic Church to give a speech present
in the parliament of this country.
Monday morning at the office of the Apostolic Nunciature
in Madrid, the Pope will welcome Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The gathering will be private.
After 10 a.m. Leon XIV will visit the Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain, which is called the General Cortesis. At the seat of the Lower home – legislature of Deputies
in Palacio de las Cortes – the Pope will be welcomed by president Francina Armengol and the legislature chief Pedro Rollan Ojeda. Leon XIV will give a speech to the members of both chambers of parliament.
