Press conference attended by Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak and Michał Urbaniak, on 1 March 2024.

Krzysztof Bosak:
– We want to mention to yesterday's talks between Prime Minister Tusk and the farmers and to what is happening at all about agricultural policy, due to the fact that nothing is happening! Nothing important. It's been 10 days since We introduced draft regulation extending the embargo, by the Confederate. This is simply a very simple way to jump the farmers' satisfaction! The satisfaction of 70% of Poles who support agricultural protests. besides to invitation the representatives of the European Commission to the negotiating table effectively.

Meanwhile, what's Donald Tusk's government doing? He's playing for time. Donald Tusk does what he does very well, that is, he enters into long, inconclusive conversations, calculated on fatigue and twisting his opponent. These opponents in this case are protesting farmers. A strategy calculated to dissipate their energy, to drag, to play on time, to fatigue public opinion with the subject and to fatigue protesters.

We're hoping it won't work. We express our support for the farmers protesting. We express our support for their demands: halting flooding and destabilising the Polish marketplace by flooding products from Ukraine and stopping absurd regulations destroying agriculture, the alleged Green Deal. Thus, various bureaucratic EU regulations, as well as bureaucratic regulations that complicate improbably agriculture from the administrative side of the Polish government.

The farmer must be free! The farmer must earn, must be free of charge and Poland must have food security. That's what we want, that's what we support.

By the way, it is worth pointing out that Farmers do not believe in the effectiveness of government actions to prevent the influx into Poland even those 4 groups of products, including cereals, covered by the current embargo. From here, they start a protest, from now on a weekly protest to 7 March at the border with Lithuania in Budzisk. due to the fact that among farmers there is information that what passes through Poland is repacked and returns to us as EU cereals. We don't want that!

Once again, we are solidarity with farmers and we are critical of laziness, Nothing to do And a game for Donald Tusk's government!
