It is only a pity that the Law and Justice Department made this investment a weapon in political combat, which made the opposition against it. The CPK should gain the acceptance of all political parties, as the construction of Gdynia was supported by National Democracy, the Pilsudians, the PPS, all but communists.
Airport has no organization colors
Conversation with Prof. JACK DAMIECK, architect:
– In 1985, I announced the assumptions for the task “The Binary City of Warsaw-Lodz”. The integration of this strategy was to be located between both cities a large global aviation hub. I was inspired by what I saw in Japan. This task was not contested either in the Polish People's Republic or at the beginning of the 3rd Polish Republic. In the 1990s he was picked up by then president of Warsaw Marcin Świętcicki and presented as his own concept under the motto: “Lodz-Warsaw a common cause”. My friend Stanislaw Tym was so upset that he sacrificed this column in “Wprost”, accusing Święcicki of stealing this idea. Now the CPK (although I did not call it that) has become the subject of political trade fairs, even though airports do not have and should not have organization colors. I am an architect, I know poorly in aviation, although I have long been a glider pilot and the last solo flight I took at the age of 88.
