The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski, upon his arrival in Ireland, underestimated the grift of his American counterpart Joe Biden at the NATO summit, calling it a simple "mistake".
Mr Biden accidentally introduced the Ukrainian leader as “President Putin” on the last day of the NATO summit, after which he rapidly improved. Then Mr Zelenski replied, “I feel better.”
In an interview with reporters from Shannon Airport in Clare County, Mr. Zelenski described the blunder as a simple “mistake”.

He was later photographed as embracing Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris during a gathering of both gentlemen at the airport.
