Laos will send troops to Ukraine? "Like North Korea" [ANALYZA]

Located on the Indochin Peninsula, Laos is 1 of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia. In 2024 Laos' GDP barely exceeded $16 billion and per capita was $2724. Over 80% of the population are employed in the agricultural sector. On 2 March 2025, Laotian abroad Minister Phongsavanh Sisoulath made an authoritative visit to Pyongyang, followed by suggestions that Laos would send a tiny armed contingent to Ukraine.
