Who will make a fresh U.S. seaplane?

When Boeing was selected in March 2025 as the creator of a fresh generation aircraft for the US Air Force (i.e. the F-47 aircraft created under the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD), it seemed that the same choice of aircraft for the US Navy was a substance of days or weeks at most. The fresh Secretary of defence Pete Hegseth seemed determined and willing to push the most crucial programs forward at any cost.
