"We pray present that your ministry, performed in changing and not always favorable circumstances, will be carried out with the same task: to transfer the treasure of religion to the next generations and to form them by sharing their individual experience," said Fr. Archbishop Zbigniew Zieliński to the catechists on the occasion of Archdiocese Catholic Day.
The yearly gathering of referees, visitors and lay and spiritual catechestes was held in the Church of St. The main point of the gathering was Mass under the leadership of the Poznań Metropolitan.
In a homily, the Poznań metropolitan pointed out to the catechists the request to cultivate meetings with God. He argued that "theological knowledge, catechetical knowledge, is important, what each 1 of us will accomplish, and to what degree he will unite with the 1 who sends us, relationships and methods are important, but the most crucial is the gathering with the 1 who calls us, due to the fact that without Him our gathering present does not make sense."
He pointed out that "we can accomplish so much from the catechetical mission and give to those to whom we are sent, as we will first get."
