Kremlin poll shows advanced public support for the war against Ukraine

Despite the increasing economical difficulties and military failures, most Russians support the war against Ukraine – this is the consequence of a survey commissioned by the Russian authorities. However, as analysts of the U.S. Institute for War Studies indicate, the results are most likely not reliable, but they reflect “the Kremlin's views and narratives”.

According to a Kremlin-controlled poll The All-Russian Public Opinion investigation Centre (VTSVGD) 67 percent of respondents support War against Ukraine (called propaganda ‘special military operation’). From the same survey, 65% of railways believe that the conflict is beneficial for their country.

The polling manager Mikhail Mamonov stated that the Russian society is pursuing quickly ending the conflict.
