Poland is slow flooded by immigrants. Children of foreigners from 3rd planet countries As many as 12% of all students enrolled in Kraków primary schools this school year. Most of them are inactive Ukrainians, but the most dynamic growth is found by Indians, being mass-collected through legal facilities created by the informal coalition of COPIS. So many numbers make it impossible to assimilate those people who start creating parallel societies.
The Krakow multi-kulti is developing at a staggering rate. By estimates The City Hall of Krakow in 2022, foreigners already account for about 15 percent of the city's population. In 2023 there were over 20 1000 people from abroad registered in Krakow, of which 7,7 1000 from Ukraine, 3,4 1000 from Belarus or 1,1 1000 from India. Since then, the number of immigrants has increased importantly in the city, mainly Indians who bring their families here.
Statistics from the Multicultural and Migration Observatory (WIM) in Krakow reported on “Economic immigrants and coercion in Krakow in 2024” the number of immigrant children in the city. Among 35 1000 kindergarten children there were 3305 children from another countries (approximately 9.5 percent). In both kindergartens and schools, most of them came from the countries of the "third world" (Ukraine, Belarus, Bangladesh, Vietnam and India). In advanced schools, citizens from another countries constituted 5% of pupils, in techniques of 12%, in industrial schools of 11.4 percent, and in post-secondary schools almost 30%.

Last year the Indians were already after Ukrainians and Belarusians the 3rd largest group of immigrants in Krakow, ahead of the Russian and Italian numbers. The improvement of this group is linked to the increasing economical and educational migration, supported by the informal coalition of COPIS.
“Poland has become an immigration country in the last decade. There has been a alleged migration transition, which means that from the country that sent migrants, it has become a host country. Our migration balance shows that presently there are definitely more people coming to Poland than leaving. 1 of the super interesting groups that appears in these statistics, including educational ones, are Hindus. This is 1 of the most dynamically developing immigrant groups, alongside citizens of another countries of South and Central Asia," said Prof. Konrad Pwięwiatr in an interview with PAP.
Hindus presently account for 3% of all foreigners in Kraków schools. Definitely the largest group – including 80% abroad students – remains children from Ukraine, whose full is over 15.5 1000 at various stages of education. According to the GOI, their number decreased by 365 in the last year. Researchers besides noted that Ukrainian families in smaller cities specified as Nowy Sącz, Olkusz, Oświęcim and Tarnów were increasingly present.
It is estimated that about 2.5 million foreigners live in the territory of Poland, most of them being alleged "war refugees" and in practice displaced people from Ukraine.
