Following a referendum held on 24 May, which resulted in the dismissal of Alexander MiszaIski from the office of president of Krakow, the Commissioner appointed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk will presume his duties. It is the current vice president of the city Stanisław Kracik. Its task is to guarantee that self-government operates until early elections are held. The Prime Minister has a maximum of 90 days to organise and conduct them.
