After interior disputes in the Confederate, dictated by mediocre election result, Janusz Korwin-Mikke decided to leave the group, whose leaders condemned many of his statements. This does not mean, however, that he is retiring into political retirement, although not long ago, erstwhile he transferred power in the KORWiN organization to Sławomir Mentzen, much indicated that Janusz Korwin-Mikke would only become a political observer of the young generation of freedomists.
However, now that many of his pupils, including first of all Sławomir Mentzen himself, spoke against the father of the Polish freedom movement, and even denied many of the erstwhile demands, heading more towards the political centre, Janusz Korwin-Mikke felt that he was not just going to look at the collapse of the thought he had fought for his full life.
Last Wednesday, symbolic on 13 December, Janusz Korwin-Mikke announced at a press conference in Warsaw that he had filed registration papers for a fresh political party, from which the letter will definitely be launched by his old friend, known to many Polish publicists, Stanisław Michalkiewicz.
This is simply a large surprise, due to the fact that Michalkiewicz was invited to various electoral lists many times and consistently resisted these invitations. This time, however, he stated that if the people he fought politically with a fewer decades ago are now returning to active politics and again agitating behind the "new russian Union, which simply changed its position" [the European Union – ed.], then he cannot look at it calmly.
What will the fresh organization of Janusz Korwin-Mikke be called? This will be announced as shortly as the group is registered by the territory Court in Warsaw.
