North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appointed a fresh Minister of Defense, said the KCNA government agency today. As she added, deep rifts in command are to accelerate the modernization of the army, increase discipline after the corruption scandal and let the full defence sector to be reorganized.
The Communication stated that at the Saturday gathering of the Central Military Commission (CKW) ruling in the country of the Korean Labour Party, "the plans for structural reorganisation were discussed in order to improve and make future general defence issues". It was stressed that fresh commanders are required to "arm themselves heavy into organization ideology".
Former Chief Political Officer of the North Korean Army Kim Song Gi replaced as Defence Minister No Kwang Czola, who was appointed First Deputy manager in the Department of the Armed Industries.
As part of the changes to the strict management, Pak Jong Czon returned. He again assumed the position of vice-president of the CKW, after being elected as a associate of the Political Office and the Central Committee of the Party.
According to South Korean Yonhap, the present roosts fit in Pjongjang's efforts to modernise the armed forces and strengthen military discipline.
