Position of president of the Republic of Poland @NawrockiKn on the Regulation of the Minister of Justice:

The president of the Republic calls upon all judges, regardless of the procedure in which they were appointed and at the hands of which the president of the Republic took the act of appointment, that, in accordance with the constitutional regulation of Article 178 of the Basic Law, they stay independent and subject only to the Constitution and laws. In this way, you will confirm your independency from the brutal attempts of pressure, manipulation and lawlessness that you are being forced to do. This is simply a actual test of judicial independence, a test of work for the constitutional order of the state, which guarantees everyone the right to a fair and public review of the case within a reasonable time by an independent and impartial court established by the law.

As guardian of the Constitution, the president of the Republic ensures full support for judges who do not succumb to unlawful attempts to deprive them of their independence. At the same time, the president makes it clear: those who are going to go incorrect and break their oath will themselves competition their authority to regulation on behalf of the Republic — moral and resultant from public assurance — and the decisions taken under specified conditions will be challenged.
