So far, each passenger could carry liquids in hand luggage only in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 milliliters. In addition, all of them had to be placed in a transparent bag of a capacity of not more than 1 litre. As a result, those travelling exclusively with a backpack, which can be taken aboard, had to be severely restricted. In time, the authorities of individual airports began to deviate from this rule, which is straight related to the installation of modern 3D scanners. In early July of this year, we informed that passengers would be able to bring even two-litre bottles to the aircraft if their flight began in British Birmingham or Scottish Edinburgh. But that is not the end. There have now been further reports of limits at European airports.

The European Commission ensures that erstwhile fresh technology is implemented and certified, the limit will be changed. The EC decision is now just waiting for confirmation by the European civilian Aviation Conference. If the fresh rules are approved, they should start working "in a fewer weeks".
