Operation FENIKS is over. The military stays put.

For the last 8 months, soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland have conducted the FENIKS operation - the largest military operation to destruct the effects of floods. On 30 April 2025, a press conference was held in Stroniu Śląski summarizing the activities of the Polish Army in flood areas. It was attended by representatives of military formations, government institutions and local administration.
