End of stage. Preparedness remains

End of service as Operation Commander of the Armed Forces Types This is simply a peculiar minute for me. This is not only a change of position, but the closure of a very intense phase of service – a phase of work for the regular safety of the state, for commanding operations, for the readiness of forces and resources, and for Polish soldiers performing tasks in the country and abroad.

Operational Command of the RSZ this is simply a place where Poland's safety takes on a very circumstantial dimension. These are not abstract concepts. These are 24-hour shifts, reports, decisions, assessment of the situation, interaction with allies, responding to threats and preparing for what may come.

I thank the soldiers and staff of the Operations Command for their professionalism, work and regular service – frequently performed without publicity, but always with full commitment. I besides thank all the military, allied and civilian partners with whom we have jointly built Poland's security.

For civilian consumers, I want to emphasise 1 thing: State safety is not a given state erstwhile and for all. This process requires constant readiness, consequences, resilience and cooperation. Modern threats do not halt at borders, they are not always military and very frequently affect the full society.

Therefore, I stay ready for further challenges for the Armed Forces of Poland and for the safety of the Republic. The position is changing. You don't change your commitment.
