Confederacy wall behind Polish carriers. "No arguments reached the government of Mateusz Morawiecki"

Farmers, acting as part of the “The Defrauded Village” initiative, started a morning protest before crossing the border in Medica on Thursday. Demonstrators demand, among others, additional corn subsidies and reductions in agricultural taxes.

At the same time, farmers joined the protests of carriers on the Polish-Ukrainian border, which have been holding for respective days, blocking border crossings, including in Korczowa, Dorohusk and Hrebenn in Lublin Voivodeship.

– Both carriers and farmers were betrayed by the government. The government has supported EU rules that are detrimental to these industries. Supported unconditional support of the agricultural marketplace for Ukrainian products – said Deputy talker of the Sejm.
