Floating unit flying the flag of Liberia came to Poland from Antwerp as part of the ocean Britannia service. The ship will stay in Gdynia for respective days during transhipment operations. 27 July will embark on a further tour to Klaipeda, Havru, Antwerp and London, where you will go on a cruise to Asia.

A unit with specified dimensions only a fewer years ago would not have been able to safely enter and maneuver in a port channel. Port Gdynia implemented a megainvestment program worth a full of PLN 1.27 billion so that it could accept ships from the Baltmax class. As part of the upgrading of the infrastructure, the rotor was expanded, the entrance to the port was expanded, the swimming pools and access tracks were deepened, the waterfront was rebuilt, the handling equipment was purchased and the modern RTK satellite strategy was implemented. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka stressed that Gdynia had officially entered the “extraclass of Baltic ports”.
