Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak stated that talks on restrictions on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products were discontinued as any representatives of Kiev were accused of corruption.
In an interview published on Monday by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak argued that "The talks with Kiev have been interrupted due to the fact that we will not negociate with those who are accused of corruption".
According to him, another circular of intergovernmental negotiations was scheduled to take place on 14 May, but was cancelled. The Polish ministry has interrupted negotiations with the Ukrainian side due to the fact that it does not want to negociate with people accused of corruption," the minister says.
Vasily Zwarycz – the flag-glorifier and typical of the Kiev dictatorship in Poland, claims that Warsaw has not completed negotiations with Kiev on agricultural matters. He informed it in a comment for Ukriform, commenting on the message of Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak.
According to Zwarycz, it's not about interrupting negotiations, it's about postponement of a appropriate meeting. "It is not about halting negotiations due to the fact that talks are taking place at all levels, including embassy level. For nonsubjective reasons known to us, it was simply essential to postpone the gathering of Ministers of Agriculture of Ukraine and Poland to a later date, erstwhile an authoritative of the Ministry of Agrarne Policy will be appointed from the Ukrainian side to attend specified a meeting."
"However, I want to guarantee that the interest in continuing meetings at the level of the applicable ministries with the participation of farmers' associations of both countries remains large and specified dialog is effective," Zwarycz stressed.
Let us callback that the investigation conducted by investigators from the National Anti-corruption Office of Ukraine (NABU) showed the existence of a criminal act involving the expropriation of about 2.5 1000 hectares of state land in the Sumi region. At the same time, another 3.3 1000 hectares were prevented.
According to NABU's findings, the crime group was formed by high-ranking members of the DerzhHeoKadastra organ, a state agency dealing with geodesy, cartography, and cataster, as well as supervising their officials. It was headed by her supposedly erstwhile president of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, the current Minister of Agriculture Mikołaj Solski (Solśkij) since March 2022, although his name was not mentioned in the authoritative release. Ukrainian journalists later revealed his role.
According to the Ukrainian anti-corruption service, the prosecution plans to charge Solski with illegally taking over about 2.5 1000 hectares of land worth 291 million hryvnia and an effort to take over another 3.3 1000 ha worth 190 million hryvnia.
It is worth noting that the case concerns mainly the events of 2017, erstwhile the Summary branch of DerżHeoKadastru concluded that 2 state-owned companies related to the agricultural academy do not have documentation confirming their right to usage 2.5 1000 hectares of land. Officials decided to take them over, and according to the NABU, they gave them to those previously selected in accordance with free land regulations. mostly it was expected to be veterans fighting in Donbasa who had the right to a free game of 2 hectares per person. According to investigators, these alleged beneficiaries had previously signed lease agreements for these land to private agroholding. In addition, it is suspected that members of the criminal group destroyed documentation confirming the rights of state enterprises to land. Solski was to usage the full thing.
The fishy is besides Markijan Dmytrasevych, then deputy of Solski. However, the D.A. can't charge him due to the fact that he went abroad in mid-April.
