A female and a man moving in a wheelchair were crushed by a tree that fell on the sidewalk at ul. Lopuskiego in Kołobrzeg. Both victims went to the infirmary – informed the West Pomeranian Fire Department.
The event occurred present after 9 p.m. at Łopuskiego Street in Kołobrzeg.
As the spokesperson for the West Pomeranian PSP asp. Dariusz Schacht passed, a tree fell on 2 passersby.
– A female was injured, who was brought out of the tree by outsiders before the service arrived. The second individual to whom the tree fell was a man with disabilities. His firemen were freed," said Asp. Schacht.
The fireman reported that both of these individuals were examined by medical rescue teams and transported to the infirmary for further diagnostics and observation.
The commander of the PSP Mł. Brig. Krzysztof Azierski said that the reason for the fall of the tree is not yet known.
