Our countrymen evacuated from Israel by Jordan already in Poland. Congratulations to the soldiers on a smooth and safe operation. Armed forces of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with the Ministry of abroad Affairs conducted evacuation of 65 Polish citizens. Our B-737 air force aircraft has transported its countrymen from Amman. The operation was assisted by soldiers of the Polish Military Quota stationed in Jordan “Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Minister of National Defence, reported on social media.
On Thursday late evening 65 Poles arrived in Warsaw evacuated from Israel through the territory of Jordan. The transport took place by military aircraft, and Henry Mościcka-Dendys, Deputy Minister of abroad Affairs, was waiting for passengers at the airport. As the deputy minister of the Ministry of abroad Affairs explained, leaving Israel was delayed due to the alarm announced in the morning in Tel Aviv – the convoy participants had to go to shelters. Additional difficulties besides arose on the border with Jordan, where the convoy spent quite a few time.
Safe return to Poland
When asked about the anticipation of another evacuation of Polish citizens from the region, Mościcka-Dendys informed that the decision would be taken after the morning gathering of the crisis team. She besides added that there is inactive a group of respective twelve people who have reported their willingness to leave.
Minister of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski informed on social media that 251 people had already returned safely to Poland. It is about both citizens brought from Israel and a smaller group from Iran.
251 people came home safely. Another plane with 65 people from Amman just landed in Poland – said the head of the MFA on platform X.
On the threshold of planet War III?
In an interview with RMF FM, associate of the Civic Coalition, Paweł Kowal referred to the tense situation in the mediate East, stressing that its consequences are felt besides in Poland.

Former deputy minister of the Ministry of abroad Affairs admitted that he shared the position of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who had previously stated that the planet had not been so close to the outbreak of another large conflict since planet War II.
