Another attack on a paramedic. There's an appeal to Tusk

Another paramedic was attacked by an aggressive patient. This time the incidental occurred in Zielona Góra.

A paramedic was beaten up at the ER ward of the University infirmary in Zielona Góra. The attacker was a 29-year-old who was expected to “get nervous” besides long waiting time for the party. Attacked lifeguard has many injuries – including broken ribs. Aggressor is facing up to 10 years in prison.

As a consequence of the attack, the Green Mountain Councillors have made an appeal to Prime Minister Tusk for actions to increase the safety of medical personnel. They want, among others, the courts to respond rapidly to attacks on doctors and harsh sentences: this is not expected to be “social work”, said Councillor Robert Górski.
