The provincial authorities and railway companies announced the large return of trains to Nowy Dwór Gdański. The line is to be revitalized, 10 pairs of trains a day and a ceremonial final in December 2027. Sounds beautiful. The problem is that for now, only political promises are going faster than trains. I'm not against the railroad. If the connection is needed by residents, it has passengers, reasonable distribution and calculated costs, it must be activated. But there's more than a press conference, a fewer smiles and a driver's drive between the thought and regular transports. It contains money, documentation, tenders, contractors, robots, method receptions, rolling stock and a multi-annual connection service contract. And that's the specifics.
