Over the years I have lived with the fact that the only organization with a coherent political programme is the Polish People's Party. Visits on websites, whether the ruling organization or the largest opposition party, left me with a feeling of large understatement. Indeed, both parties published their ‘programmes’, but the papers presented there could not be taken seriously. PiS presented an extended essay on the harm that the Polish people allegedly experienced between 1989 and 2015 (with a short break for 2005 and 2007) and announced that it would be different now. On the another hand, the Platform provided ammunition to those who said that it was of no interest to take distant the PiS trough. Yes, she detailed the sins of the rulers, but could not present an interesting imagination of Poland's future. This was confirmed by Grzegorz Schetyna, who, years ago, said that the PO did not print the program, “because PiS would bargain it from him”.
Subsequent years during which the leaders of large parties fed us at most with colorful slides with meaningless slogans specified as "safe school" made any publicists even question the sense of something like a political program. We could read that the election "wins with emotions" or "mobilization of the already convinced electorate". The flow of votes from organization A to organization B was treated as a dream.
Out of longing for specified a imagination was born Poland 2050 Szymon Hołownia, a organization that was to be full of experts and substantive messages, so different from mainstream mush Tusk and Kaczyński. However, erstwhile we go on its website today, we will see at most 10 ideas that are in no way different from what another opposition parties are proposing. In favour of Holowna, Koboski and mysterious experts only works that the real program inactive has PSL.
At the end of the enumeration left the Left. It's a group that actually had any interesting ideas, specified as "bus in all municipality, railway in all district" or the revolutionary thought for the 21st century of establishing a state housing developer. However, he always had a feeling that the remaining parts of the left-wing program afraid groups favored by this party. Adrian Zandberg idolizes people working in the budget and those who have employment contracts. For everyone else, he does not peculiarly find understanding.
Until the Coalition program came along
The scenery outlined by me was inactive present today, as the 100 points of the Civic Coalition presented in Tarnów should satisfy the request for a "material discussion" during the campaign. It is besides impossible to get angry and say that the Platform's coalitions are a flower for a goat for the largest opposition party. To the bare eye, you can see which points of the program were written by the Greens or Agrounia.
The presented program can be called revolutionary. The Civic Coalition at its 100 points drops the party's "middle class" patch. It is bold to say that the points presented here are not simply intended to meet the needs of "rich, educated and surviving in large cities". On the contrary, we can find points where concern for the poorest goes further than on the Left.
Such a point is the exemption from income taxation of persons earning up to PLN 6000 gross and receiving pension up to PLN 5000 gross. Furthermore, KO announces a doubling of the tax-free amount from PLN 30 to PLN 60 thousand. This is an apparent effort to counter inflation, which ravaged the portfolios of Poles, but many of those who were not long ago bound to end up pushing poorness into the arms of poverty.
Similarly, the point of automatic valorisation of teachers' salaries or the elimination of the alleged pension trap should be treated. It would mean that people with disabilities will be able to work without losing their pension. And as apparent as that sounds, it has been impossible so far. Agnieszka Szpila, who wrote last year for “Where are these children? In the ass!” she received the GrandPress award in the publicist category.
Points added to the program by AgroUnion seem interesting. We are talking, for example, about the thought that at least half of the "strategic food products" come from Poland (a question of what the future legislature will consider specified products) or a point about the construction of systems that keep water in the dirt longer. The presence of specified a request on the list means that already present Polish farmers gotta deal with the effects of climate change.
The list besides lists PiS politicians who will be held accountable for their abuses. It is simply a pebble to the garden of those who say that in Polish politics you can do anything but call your opponents before the Court of State. So if you believe the Head of the Platform, problems await: Andrzej Duda, Jarosław Kaczyński, Mateusz Morawiecki, Jacek Sasin, Zbigniew Ziobra, Adam Glapiński, Łukasz Szumowski, Janusz Cieszynski, Antoni Macierewicz or even Adam Niedzielski.
Civil Coalition Programme – another step in building the Democratic Party
The civilian Coalition programme is simply a coherent full covering the full public life. While I am aware that he will most likely not convince himself of the PiS supporters, I think that he can respond to the needs of undecided voters. As has been shown by the fresh investigation carried out at the request of the Batory Institute by the Differentence Laboratory, voters who, 1 period before the vote, are not yet determined which organization to support, primarily combines aversion to written publishing. The coalition in its programme clearly goes in a different direction – not so much wants to give money, but to keep it in the pockets of Poles. And I wouldn't be amazed if, in the next fewer days, the polling problems hit the 3rd Road and the Left. KO not only did she get the best of their programs, she added quite a few her own ideas.
This is another clear step towards building a Polish counterpart of the American Democratic Party. The PO leader showed that social demands – but far from simply giving people money to hand – can besides be implemented under the aegis of a "large coalition". And possibly it's the only way to make it work.
Literally the only thought on the list that seems unthinkable to me is simply a 0% debt to buy the first apartment, due to the fact that it's not just a repetition of the evil thought of the PiS how much to rise its stakes. I have no uncertainty that, after specified a solution, the property price would have reached a historical record. The construction of the airport in Baranów should besides be considered. The coalition is clearly opposed to this idea, but it has long been known that Okęcie is besides tiny an airport for the always increasing Warsaw.
But what are the 2 tiny objections to the list of another 98 ideas? The question is whether KO has not announced its program besides late and whether 30 days is adequate time to effectively present these ideas to Poles.
