Polish thought Clubs visited Budapest. Together with our Hungarian friends we celebrated the National Festival of Hungary. erstwhile delegations of KMP from Warsaw, Katowice, Poznań, Łódź, Pabianic, Białystok, Wrocław, Opole, Leszno, Częstochowa and Skoczowa are present.
They represented Przemysław Piasta, Adam Laughter and writing these words Łukasz Jastrzębski. Poles surviving in Budapest and the remainder of the group, who arrived by another means of transport, joined us. We had with us white-red flags and the Polish thought Club flag. This was the flagship of the Association of Inheritors of the Polish Kombatants of the Second planet War (Adam Lewandowski, Roland Dubowski and Sławomir Zakrzewski) erstwhile representatives of the Polish Left Movement (Włodzimierz Gorski) and Safe Poland (Bartosz Kaczmarek) We were accompanied by journalists Kamil Klimczak (Chrobry Trail) and Jarosław Augustyniak (Jarosław looking for trouble).
We took part in a touching ceremony completed with the laying of flowers under the monument of Sándor Petőfi, who was a prominent Hungarian poet, associate in the Hungarian uprising and adjutant of General Józef Bem. The celebrations were intertwined with singing, poesy and folk dances. The unity of the Hungarian people could be seen at the monument. The ceremony was attended by residents of the territory of Ujpest – from children to old people. The flowers were laid under 1 monument by conservatives (Mi Hazánk Mozgalom and Fidesz) and socialists (Magyar Szocialista Párt). On behalf of our environment, the wreath was laid by Margaret Rabbit, Przemysław Piasta and Łukasz Jastrzębski. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of the invitation to the tiny reception of local Poles, due to the fact that we rushed to Fidesz rally to show our opposition to the mad policy of globalists pushing Europe towards war.
So Fideshu is simply a multi-thousand-dollar manifestation. On it we met Poles from our close environments. The people of Budapest welcomed us enthusiastically. I have never encountered specified a pleasant reception of Poles and reactions to white and red. There was a bond with those people who chose patriotism and peace alternatively of internationalist liberalism, militarism and war. Hungarian flags flew everywhere. There was and announced counter-demonstration. There were about 3 lefts with the Ukrainian flag and buttons with the crossed-out Prime Minister Orban standing against the crowd of thousands. Surrounded by police cordon. They didn't provoke anger, they did. We besides met representatives of another nations, including Germans and French.
After the demonstration, we visited a fragment of Budapest and went to a close restaurant to talk to our Hungarian friends. After checking into the hotel, the KMP delegation went to a rally organized by Mi Hazánk. It was for apparent reasons more extremist in than this Fidesz. The leader of this group Laszlo Torockai powerfully condemned the engagement in the Ukrainian-Russian war, as well as a non-reflexive military support policy for 1 of the parties. He advocated peace talks and peace. Polish MP Roman Fritz with delegation of his political environment was besides present. After the rally there were many and lengthy talks with the leadership of this political formation. In the evening, participants of the Hungarian expedition visited beautiful Budapest, resting on the Danube. any of us met in 1 of the friendly places with the youth of this formation.
The next day we took a walk to the Hungarian Parliament. This allowed us to admire the beauty of Budapest architecture. A celebrated monument dedicated to russian soldiers stands other the US embassy (closely fenced!). Of course, we took a commemorative image with him – to satisfy online “onuc hunters”. On that day we had an chance to visit the building of the beautiful Hungarian Parliament (Országház). Our guide was, among another things, MP David Dosc from the Polish-Hungarian parliamentary group. This building became 1 of the symbols of the Hungarian capital. On the outer walls of the building are the coat of arms of erstwhile large Hungary. Inside we had an chance to see, among another things, the most crucial relic of the Hungarian people – the crown of Saint Stefan and another royal insignia.
We were able to conduct respective interviews and establish fresh contacts. We have besides had a number of talks concerning “Polish Thoughts”, Polish thought Clubs and political activities for the next time. However, we will not be informed of them until the request arises. For my part, I would like to thank all participants for their participation in this crucial event for us. You've shown as usual that you can be counted on. Another expedition soon!
