They practiced green tactics, terrain handling techniques, as well as ways of responding to emergency situations – students of the uniform classes of the 1st CN-B Phoenix advanced School of Polish Spadochronists in Radom received applicable military training. The classes were prepared and conducted by teacher soldiers from the 6th Mazovian Territorial Defence Brigade.
The first training of uniform classes took place in this year. Instructors from the 62nd Light Infantry Battalion conducted classes with students of the 1st CN-B Phoenix advanced School of Polish Spadochronists in Radom. 50 cadets took part in the class. Young adepts have improved acquired skills in tactical activities, medical training, communication and field studies.
- I'm sorry. During the class, students showed large commitment and skills. Training under the supervision of specialists is the best chance for cadets to prepare decently for military service in the future - says 1 of the instructors, a 6MBOT soldier.
Additionally, participants had the chance to familiarize themselves with the service characteristics in the search and rescue group K9 with dogs, which are formed in 6MBOT structures. The activities of the GP-R K9 in the WOT are related to the needs of the armed forces as well as local communities. The concept of search and rescue groups utilizing dogs assumes that they will specialize in searching for and helping people who are lost in urban areas, in rubble and in forest areas. - It was a very interesting class, and we could besides see the K9 search and rescue group show. It's a full fresh experience for me, and I'd like to be part of this group someday. "I came to the uniform class with the intention of serving in a uniform in the future, and I am glad that I have the chance to learn from the soldiers," said students participating in classes.

Classes are part of applicable training, which is carried out in uniform classes, according to the principles of pro-defensive education. They were held on the basis of an agreement concluded between the directorate of the 1st CN-B Phoenix General advanced School of Polish Spadochronists in Radom, and the Commander of the 6th Mazovia Territorial Defence Brigade of Captain Witold Pilecki. As part of the cooperation, the unit took the uniform class with its patronage. - The students of uniform classes are already about the strength of the Polish army. Many of them plan their future with the military. We are counting on a large proportion of the graduates to join our ranks, says Lieutenant Colonel Artur Wasilewski, commander of the 62nd Light Infantry Battalion in Radom.
The cooperation of military units with NGOs and another social partners is an crucial component of the Armed Forces' activity in Poland. Its aim is to affect the public in matters related to the safety and defence of the state. 6 The Mazowiecka Territorial Defence Brigade cooperates with 17 educational institutions, of which 4 in Radom alone.
