The leaders, among others, of Russia, China, India and Iran met on Tuesday at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SHOW) in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. In a joint declaration after the sitting, they criticised the American-Israeli attacks on Iran and unilateral sanctions.
The paper adopted at the end of the session condemned the war with Iran, pointing out that many civilians were killed and that Iran suffered crucial economical losses. It has been stressed that attacks against the country "are breaking the foundations and standards of global law and the Charter of the United Nations and posing a serious threat to planet peace, safety and stability".
Israel has besides been criticized for its attacks on Palestinians, adding that the conflict must be resolved not by aggression, but by a "comprehensive and fair deal".
