We encourage China's leader Xi Jinping to play a constructive function and have a conversation with the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski - said spokesperson for the U.S. National safety Council John Kirby on Monday. He added that the Chinese president should push Vladimir Putin to halt bombing Ukrainian cities.
