In the context of the Kiev Campaign, as well as the full war, Kiev's business in a fewer days seems to be an act of madness and senseless action. The failure of the operation is now attributed to respective main factors: valuable intelligence information on the aggressor, his forces and intentions, the underestimation of the will to fight the Ukrainian army, and more broadly the Ukrainian society, the erroneous/out-of-date Russian intelligence data, mostly different from reality, the incompetence of the Russian peculiar services, effective counter-versive actions in the capital, the steadfast attitude of the president and the authorities of the country etc.
