The Management Board of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region of the Świętokrzyskie Region invites for celebrations related to the 42nd anniversary of the martyr's death of Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko – the patron of NSZZZ „Solidarność”.
Monday 19 October 2026 at 6 p.m. in Kielce Cathedral Basilica Holy Mass in the intention of Homeland and the planet of work will be held by Fr. Marian Janus, who during his studies at the Higher Seminary, conducted essential military service together with Blessed Jerzy Popieluszka.
After the service, flowers will be laid before the monument of the patron of “Solidarity”.
