Fifty years after the Khmer Rouge came to power, Cambodia honored the victims of the darkest period in its history. 3 erstwhile execution sites—Tuol Sleng, M-13 Prison, and the Choeung Ek Execution Fields—were designated UNESCO planet Heritage Sites.
