Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported that all Polish household will receive a fresh "Safety Guide" from the MON containing applicable tips for the time of crises.

Presenting the handbook drawn up by the government, the head of the MON stressed that there are many tips on how to behave in crisis situations specified as floods or terrorist threats. "The defence of the homeland is simply a task for all of us," he said.

– Our intention is to make it to all home in the printed version – said the head of the MON. Kosiniak-Kamysz pointed out that the thought is that the "Safety Guide" should be in a place where everyone has access.

– The point is that it should be on the kitchen table, where everyone has access, not on the shelf, among another books," the Deputy Prime Minister added.



The manual is not limited to armed conflicts. It includes advice on natural disasters, fires, floods or terrorist threats. Among another things, it was described how to give first aid, to which services to report, erstwhile to evacuate from the endangered area, and how to safe yourself and your property.

During the presentation, the Deputy Prime Minister besides presented a group of experts active in the creation of a guide, stressing that Poland will be 1 of the fewer countries in Europe that effectively prepares society and builds civic awareness.
