The fire that broke out on Thursday night Friday in Hayes close London proved disastrous. The electrical substation provided electricity, among others, to London's Heathrow airport, which is among the largest in Europe.
Hundreds of thousands of passengers will gotta change their plans after a transformer in an electrical substation that powered Heathrow Airport, among others, on the night of 20 to 21 March. Although the airport has an emergency power system, any flights have been diverted – any to locations as far distant as Paris.

Fire department reports the fire has been contained. It is besides known from the first information that it was not intentionally caused.
