Disaster F-16. Flights from Radom may be transferred

The PLL LOT Operations Centre is in contact with the services in Radom. They will decide the destiny of tomorrow's flights from this airport, but they can be transferred to Warsaw - said LOT spokesperson Krzysztof Moczulski.

On Thursday, the media reported the F-16 military aircraft crash in Radom during exercises before AirSHOW shows. The information was confirmed by peculiar Services coordinator Tomasz Siemoniak, adding that the pilot did not survive.

When asked if there would be flights to and from Radom tomorrow, he stated that the decision had not yet been made. "Really, I think we're going to decision them to Warsaw," he said. However, he pointed out that this would be decided by the operational services.

According to the agenda on the Warsaw-Radom Airport website, 2 arrivals were planned for Friday - from Rome and Preweza (Greece) - and 1 departure, to Preweza.
