BASTA! Here's the justice who impeached the buccaneer

Recently we heard that Robert Bąkiewicz was convicted in a case with Katarzyna Augustyniak or left-wing activist better known as “Grandmother Kasia”. The conviction is invalid and we want to draw attention to who gave it up.

According to the Antipolonism Monitoring Centre, the justice in the case was Margaret Drewin. She sentenced Robert Bąkiewicz to the punishment of the year of social work and PLN 10,000 in relation to Catherine Augustinek, who repeatedly insulted officers and acted aggressively and vulgarly. Robert Bąkiewicz was convicted of defending the Church of the Holy Cross in Krakowskie Przedmieście from profanations. The same justice acquitted Elizabeth Podlesna and Eve Borgunska, who stormed the TVP building in January 2019 and blocked the departure of writer Magda Cucumber. The same justice felt that the arrest by the police of Bartosz Kramek, from the Open dialog Foundation, was "unwarranted". The same justice dismissed the accusation of defamation with which Jan Kanthak went to court against the lies of the fresh Left activist. The same justice did not take into account the complaint by Solidarni 2010 to refuse the prosecution to initiate proceedings against Prime Minister Donald Tusk for failing to explain the Smolensk disaster. It did not take into account any of the requests submitted by the applicant for evidence. The same justice in March 2015 together with Wojciech Więczewski ruled that in 2007 the accused chiefs of CBA Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński, utilizing their positions, exceeded their powers in connection with the land scandal. The judges issued a ruling condemning officers fighting corruption to 3 years of ruthless imprisonment.

Linkewski is no longer a judge. He was to correspond with an net user claiming to be Thomas Lisa and discuss with him a fresh strategy to fight the government. The same justice dismissed proceedings against smokers, protesting against the defence of the Polish border against migrants thrown by Belarus. The same justice convicted Katarzyna Szymanska-Jakubowska, a erstwhile spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence for speaking to erstwhile heads of peculiar services from the time of the PO/PSL rule. The same justice issued a judgement in a case caught in the act of corrupt head of local structures of the Łukasz K Citizens' Platform. He received a low conviction compared to the act – little than PLN 200 000 fine. For PLN 600 thousand, he was to offer the Israeli lawyer a change of local improvement plan.

Małgorzata Drewin signed the appeal of the Association of Polish Judges, which uses the funds which are held by the Batory Foundation, in defence of Paweł Yuszczyszyn and Igor Tuleyi.
